Hi everyone.

I want to simulate a strike of a bird on a wing that I designed on CATIA and import on LSDYNA. The fact is that I have nerver used LSDYNA before and I can't have any help from anyone in my univeristy.

To start handle the software, I want to simulate a shock between a spherical object and a plate, using Lagrangian formulation, ALE and SPH (so three simulations). However, I just don't know how to properly use the Element and Mesh Tools for the meshing as well as the Element keyword...

If someone can take the time to help me asap, I would be very thankfull !

Thank you ! I have already a lot of article but here some of them are useful.

The fact is I just don't know which mesh I should use : auto-mesher, solid mesher or N-line or tetrahedron....

And what the point to add a card *Element in the keyword if you have already defined the meshing with the one before (auto-mesh, etc). It must be simple, but as I have never used this software I just don't know how to do it.

Thks for the answer
