Hi all,

I have a model of which I'd like to initialize the stress state before an impact event. I am using a dynamic relaxation period to apply a body load and a thermal expansion inside a 3 layer composite ball. When I run the simulation using LS-Run, the Status shows well over 100% (over 2000%), and the ETA becomes negative.

I was wondering if this is a normal side-effect of using dynamic relaxation, or if there is something I have done wrong. My LCDR's are a linear ramp lasting 1000ms, and my *CONTROL_DYNAMIC_RELAXATION card is entirely default aside from IDRFLG = -1. Is the convergence tolerance simply too high, or is there some other intrinsic issue with my use of dynamic relaxation?

Thanks in advance!

RB
