I’m presently working on my dissertation, and I’ve been trying to simulate a crash of an FSAE formula car on a rigid wall. I’ve followed a number of examples on YouTube, however when simulating there’s no movement of the chassis therefore crash can’t be initiated.
I’d appreciate some help with what could possibly be wrong. I believe I’ve initiated velocity in the right direction and selected the right parts amongst others.

I've attached a copy of the k file via this google drive link

Taking a look at the k file you provided, it appears that your initial velocity generation is in the negative z- direction, therefore it is moving away from the wall.

Also, you've fixed the nodes of the chassis in all DOF using the SPC boundary condition, whereas the nodes of the 'rigid wall' should be fixed instead.

If you make the initial velocity positive, unfix the 'Z' direction from the Chassis, and fix the rigid wall for all DOF, your simulation should work better.
