Hi guys,
I am working on a crash simulation of composite circular tube, but I can not validate the experiment results. I use MAT 54 to model the tube which has 6 layers of +/- 75 fiber orientation.
I tested the material applying standards to obtain mechanical properties. I obtained the properties given: EA, EB, G12, v12, v21, XT, XC, YT, YC, SC, SB.
But I am not sure about the failure parameters used in the card: Dfailm, dfails, dfailt values.
Also should I define tfail, alph, soft, fbrt, ycfac, efs? I got some values from the papers I found in literature.
I added my input file. I will be gratefull if you can check over the file and advice me.
All suggestions and comments are appreciated.
Thanks
Sinem
