Is it only graphical error of Pre-Post? or I make a mistake?

Below you can see my structure which has been cut its 1/4 to only see inside it (Fig 1). It is exerted axial compression force to crush.

I need to build it by shell elements. So after drawing longitude section of it and doing 1D mesh according to Fig. 2, I create shell elements by Edge Spin (Fig. 3).

As all thicknesses are 2mm I put 2 in Section card and I choose Nloc of 0.

Is it right?

Should I worry about interferences of tubes with rings?

When I tick "thick" from "Model and Part">"Apperance"  to see thickness of model I see Fig.4 after blanking half of the model.

Is it only graphical error of Pre-Post?

That all looks right to me! Yeah I believe anytime junctions of 2D shells occur prepost will visualize them like this.

Another check you can do is visualize the normals of your shell elements and make sure that there is some level of consistency throughout each region.

@negativevolume thank you.

I am not sure about what you mean by "level of consistency" but I know Normal vectors of the both tubes are towards axis of them (Fig. 5)

@mass Yeah that's really it. I didn't want to say "they should all point the same" since you have parts intersecting at perpendicular joints. And well, that really wouldn't be possible. You will be okay as long as there are no random elements that point in opposite directions scattered throughout your model.
