Hello,

I am trying to run a crush of a tube between to flat, rigid planes. However, the planes are not moving as defined in my curve. I do not understand why.

To make it clear, i have set up another very simple model with a rigid wall, that should move 25 mm in 5 s according to the provided curve. The simulation termination time is 5s. But the wall is initially moving slower. e.g. after 1 s the displacement is 2.5 mm instead of 5 mm, but after 2s 10 mm. Why?

In my original simulation i have very short calculation times (only 0.2s), and in that early phase it is completely off.

What am i making wrong?

Regards,

Your current model has motion defined as velocity in the *boundary_prescribed_motion (vad=0). You need to change vad=2 if you want to use that curve as displacement.
