Hello everyone
I have a reinforced concrete model which I use solid elements for the concrete, beam elements for the rebars and constrained_beam_in_solid for having the bong between these two components. However, my simulations look fine, I always get a warning about the beam element size "Beam distance is too small". This warning cause a problem in my modal analysis and gives crazy high values for the modal periods of my structure.
Does anybody know how to prevent such warning? And basically, how long should be those beam elements in order to avoid such warning?
Thanks
Mostafa
Are you using dynamic relaxation? This thread from a few years ago mentions it could be causing the simulation to run beyond 100%, causing your problem?

If no that, maybe it has to do with coupling parameters in *Constrained_Beam_in_Solid? Maybe your beam lengths are too small vs the amount of coupling points you are trying to set?
Here's a paper from LS-Dyna describing the development of *Constrained_Beam_in_Solid if you haven't seen, might be of use.
