Hello everyone

I am having troubles with LSPP. I have a file (not created from me) that is divided in includes. I have simply to rotate it, but when I save the simulation does not run anymore. Can anyone help me ?

Hi @gmc23

This can be tricky depending on how the model includes are written. I don't really trust LS-PrePost to save out an entire file with includes correctly. What I would normally do would be to transform what I need and then output all the nodes of the model through Post -> Output. Then replace the nodes in the files with these. However, this can be very tricky depending on where the nodes are saved in the Include files. One thing you can do is duplicate your include files, remove all nodes from them, create a new main file where you include these new includes and include this new output nodes file. That way all of your nodes are now in one place so you can make changes as you go.

Another easier way if you are just interested in rotating the entire main file, is to create a new file that references the main file as *Include_Transform where you will need to define a *Define_Transform card in the TRANID. In the *Define_Transform card you are able to translate, rotate etc.

Overly complicated? Yes I know. Please feel free to ask questions if you have issues.
