@djsburra also, I see that you are using single precision denoted by the "_s_" after smp in your version. Try using a double precision version if you have access to it. This is normally recommended for Implicit analysis, but will add ~30% computation time.Â
@negativevolume The double-precision thing seems to have sorted me out, I no longer get the same error and my implicit models seem to be running fine. The beer can crushing example ran pretty well.
Thanks for the tip.
Hi,
I am having the same issue and I hope you could assist me as I am fairly new to LS-DYNA. I am trying to run an example from dynaexamples.com with ICFD cards (ICFD DEM coupling example). The example should be run using MPP_d version R8 or higher according to the developer. I am trying to run the same example on my local machine from LS-Run using R12 MPP_d solver (windows). I get the same error as in this thread. I managed to reach someone from support of dynamore in Germany I guess and they confirmed that they've tried the same example on R12 MPP_d on Linux and it worked. I have tried all the tricks mentioned in this thread as I have tried using different versions of the solver still no luck. Are there any suggestions regarding this issue?Â
I am attaching lsrun.out file for reference where the error is showing.Â
