Convergence test, volumetric locking and shear locking

Have anyone done some sort of convergence test before? I really need some ideas on how can I perform the convergence test for my models. Also, I need to look if my model has any volumetric or shear locking. It would really be helpful if anyone has worked on these processes before and provide any kind of suggestion.
