How to apply a prescribed motion for displacement control on a rectangular solid body? I saw examples for shell structures where the boundary condition for the prescribed motion is applied to the respective nodes. However, when the same method is applied to a rectangular solid body, it doesn't give correct answers. The picture shows how I applied prescribed motion

when I applied a load on solid structures, I apply the load on the segment. But, the procedure seems different when it comes to the application of Boundary condition for prescribed motion VAD 2. Please help on how to apply a prescribed motion for displacement control on a rectangular solid body.

My previous pic is wrong. I have attached the correct one along with SPC.

@sonlong Sorry that I missed this way back when. But you shouldn't need both *Boundary_prescribed_motion and *Boundary_spc. You should just be able to create a node set and use *boundary_prescribed_motion_set where you will reference the node set and use your current settings. The DOF in the boundary prescribed motion card will restrict motion to only that direction so you don't need spc.
