Hi guys, i want to define a constant velocity (i.e. 2m/s in Z-Axis) for a solid meshing part in LS-Prepost. How can I manage it? Could you guys help me out?

Hi @felix_fedi

Create a node set for that solid part and then use *Boundary_prescribed_motion_set to reference that set under NSID. Then select the direction according to your coordinate system with DOF. Then you can either use a displacement vs time curve (VAD = 2) or velocity vs time curve (VAD=0) to represent velocity.

For example: 10 m/s would look like this for displacement vs time

Time   Disp

0        0

1        10

And for velocity vs time

Time   Disp

0        10

1        10
