Hi
I have a simulation where an impactor with initial velocity strikes another part. I want to observe the oscillation of the part that has been struck, however the impactor gets in the way and strikes the part again.
Is there a way I can set a time limit for how long the impactor is active? So that it is deleted, avoiding a secondary impact?

You can define death time for your contact card definition, so after you get the first contact, you contact card gets deactivated by reaching the death time for this contact, so 2nd interaction should not be possible.

Hi @jazimsohail,
@fatihk is right. You would want to set a death time for the contact with the impactor. Make sure the contact is isolated with only that part and the contacted part so that you don’t accidentally remove contact between other parts.
