I was running an impact analysis and I see some elements have failed in volumetric tensile strains (Refer to attached snapshot). I would like to see the element ID list and the reason for failure, namely, poor element quality or something else. How to view these failed element details in LS Dyna?

Sorry for the late reply. Have you checked the d3hsp file? Also, this sounds like something that could be tinkered with in the *Control_output keyword.
Sorry for the late response. And Thank you for the reply. Which control output keyword should I use to get the failed element IDs list? Going through .d3hsp file, I see only the total number of failed elements and not element IDs in each time steps.
