Hello. There is such a problem. In general terms, there is a certain design that experiences a low-speed impact (like a drop test). On a relatively coarse mesh, plastic deformations are minimal and agree well with experiment. But with an increase in the number of elements, the deformations become significantly larger. Tetraheds with the formulation Tet13 are used. Mass scaling is also included, but the added mass for the fine mesh case of about 40 grams is not a concern (original mass 6 grams). Plasticity model Mat24. What could be the reason for this result?

Hi @eugenekalentev

If your added mass is 40 g and your original is 6 g (over 600% added mass) that is your problem. Your mesh is probably too fine or your mass scaling is way too aggressive.
