Hi,

I am new to LS Dyna. I want to extract the relative deformation from the results (front vs. rear deformation of a car) to eliminate a rigid body motion. I found "Relative X-displacement" option in a History tool, but I am unable to pick the reference point. LS Dyna keeps saying "No follow option". Could you give me a hint, how to pick the reference node, please?

Thank you.

Hi @dlugos

Sorry for the late reply. I believe you need to first follow a node at the rear of the car by going to the sidebar Post -> Follow -> Follow Point -> Apply

Then try to plot relative X-displacement of the node at the front of the car.
