This example model accompanies the YouTube tutorial series on setting up an LS-Dyna impact simulation between a semi-rigid ball and a soft foam block. In this 3-part tutorial, you’ll learn how to set up the model, define boundary conditions and database outputs, run the simulation, and retrieve data through post-processing.
Note that a change was made to the contact between the block and plate in this set of files that differs from the video. This changes the contact to soft=1 and was in response to a change in modern versions of LS-Dyna vs when the video was created.
