Bottle Cap Compression LS-Dyna

Description

This LS-Dyna example model allows you to follow along with our YouTube series, where we test the force required to open a bottle cap using different bottle openers. The bottle cap compression simulation is included here, while models for opening the bottle cap are available in our store. The bottle cap nodes were extracted at 11 ms and used for the subsequent opening simulations.

Note that newer versions of LS-Dyna might yield behavior that differs from the simulation in the video.
