Hi there,

I have been trying to plot Impact vs time for my model, but for some reasons I haven't been able to obtain a correct result matched with experimental results. The Mat i used for this model is

MAT_159 for concrete and grout,

MAT_024 for 18 mm rock bolt,

MAT_003 for external steel confinement wrapped around the concrete, and

MAT_020 and 001 for drop hammer rig.

Contact:

AUTOMATI_SURFACE_TO_SURFACE,

Problem:

Impactor doesn't generate a compressive behaviour even though the system travel vertically, the result from Impact vs time shows some bounces. The result should be a peak load once the impactor hits the system, showing inertia force and then load bearing of the system which is in a sinusoidal pattern with low oscillation and end up failure.
