Hey guys i am doing a ICFD volume mesh with MS auto mesher in lsprepost. But after i merge all the duplicate nodes, there are still a free edge. will this free edge has an effect on my volume mesh and how can i delete this free edge?

Hi @felix_fedi,

So you are creating a volume (3D) from a 2D mesh and you want to make sure that a free edge doesn’t mess it up, correct? If you know where the free edge is, something I normally do would be to just delete those elements around that edge and remesh that hole with n-line mesher.
