Hi
I want to connect pipe to a tank. I was able to create a hole in the tank shell like below using part trim.
Now I need to create another circle around that hole to model a reinforcing plate like below:
The problem is that there remains some gaps and the circle does not actually lies on the curved surface.
Does anyone know how I can do that? Thanks again.

Hi @mmia1,
You can use Element Generation (EleGen) in the Mesh toolbar in LS-Prepost to extend a shell mesh from a mesh edge or curve.
