I am trying to simulate an additive process, to do so I need to simulate the material addition. A good example of what I am trying to do can be found here (youtube link). Does anyone know what the general process for setting up this analysis would be or what key cards could do this?

Well I missed a pretty obvious resource. Short answer is with MAT_CWM and CWM thermal. Then combined with either envyo (from dynamore) or some kind of script, create THERMAL_WELD_TRAJECTORY. If I end up going this route, and making a python script Ill put the link to the github repo in a reply here.
