Hello everyone;

I would like you to help me in a problem about Staged_Construction. When executing the LS-DYNA solver, an error appears on line 11 of the keyword corresponding to the * Control_staged_construction section, where the only values that can be modified are: "itime" and "idynain", which I have already tried with different settings and the problem is the same.

Hi @hugo-s

When I go into LS-PrePost and look at *Control_staged_construction, this is what I see. There are more options than you mention and I don't even see "itime" and "idynain".

I would suggest creating this in LS-PrePost and then saving it out again.

Okay so this is a great example of version differences. These parameters must have been added or removed. What version of LS-PrePost are you using? And what version of LS-Dyna are you running? It's very possible that you are using a version of LS-PrePost that is newer than your Dyna version. So you have parameters options that don't exist in your LS-Dyna solver version.

@negativevolume I have LS-PREPOST V4.7.14 which is the last version, and I'm using 2020 R1 ANSYS Mechanical APDL as the solver.

How can I run the staged construction? or what do you recommend?.

Just delete that 2nd row of zeros from your keyword and it should work fine.
