I am implementing a simple isotropic linear elastic material model, with failure condition based on the Rankine criterion.

Does anyone know what is the function

call mitfail3d(cm,eps,sig,epsp,hsv,dt1,capa,failel,tt,crv)

used for?

I assume it has to do with 3D element deletion. Have you checked the LS-Dyna material manual?
