hello all,

i'm simulating a lambwave propagation analysis on composite ply in Abaqus. Model without delamination condition is working fine  without any issue .For another case , how to simulate the same model with delamination at few locations ( say for ex delamination between 2 plies ) . How to insert the delamination condition.
I already tried node detachment method and this led to error : Time increment required is less than the minimum specified.

Any suggestion would help ,
thanks in advance

Have you tried using zero thickness cohesive elements between the plies with a material model with some form of damage initiation/evolution?
