Hello everyone,

I am currently working on a drilling simulation and trying to deactivate elements using the NC machining option. However, I am facing issues because there seems to be no clear correspondence between the cutting file (.ccl) that I implement and the elements that are actually removed during the process.

Has anyone encountered a similar problem or has experience with this feature? Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance to anyone who takes the time to respond!

Do the coordinate systems in your cutting file and model match exactly? If not, match these. And is the element size of your model coarse than the incremental steps of your cutting file? You can refine your mesh and see if that helps.

It appears that the two coordinate systems are consistent as I have created a cutter surface to display the cutter path and this is proceeding well. The mesh is also very dense (or at least appropriately included in the volume I intend to remove). I wanted to try to attach the file, but I can't. How can I get it to you? So maybe a more experienced eye can observe something that I don't understand.

Thank you!
