Hey everyone

I am having trouble choosing the best material model to simulate a cut punch operation with a sheet metal of CP800 steel. I need to consider that the metal is anisotropic, hardens under deformation, and the sheet must be cut by the tool. I have the Lankford parameters and the true stress-strain curve defined by the Swift law. However, I cannot decide which material model is the most appropriate to use.

Hope someone can help

This is a useful resource

https://lsdyna.ansys.com/dynamat/

I would suggest doing a google scholar search for LS-Dyna material for a sheet metal cut punch.

What materials are you currently thinking about?
