Negative ETA

Hi everyone,

I have a problem with LS-run. Instead of finishing the simulation when the statute reaches 100%, it continues over 100%, and, consequently, the ETA gets negative. Then I had to stop the simulations.

Interestingly, whenever I stopped the simulation, I still had access to the part of the result before the stop time and thankfully could see part of the result. However, this time after spending so much time and even passing the 100% state, when I stop the simulation, I can see ONLY the final status of the simulation, which is correct (just as an image of the simulation termination). In other words, I do have access to just one state in the animate window.

If anyone can help, I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

As far as I know, the problem does not relate to LS-Run. I tried other files, and everything is okay. The problem is just with this k file. Another thing I would like to add, I have a warning that the Beam distance is too small. Could this be the source of having no data at the output? Something that I am confused about, I can see the image of the termination process, which seems completely reasonable. However, I do not have any data!

I really need your help,

Thanks and regards,

Hi ANA -

I've come across this scenario when I used dynamic relaxation - does your model have a dynamic relaxation phase at the start?

I noticed that when I let the simulations run beyond 100% (I had a few models run over 10,000%), they typically concluded with a Normal Termination and gave me access to all states of the animation. Try to let the simulation run overnight and see if it eventually terminates "normally".

@rybask1 Thank you so much for the reply. Yes, exactly. It was my mistake to activate the dynamic relaxation.

Kind regards,
