I have imported a step geometry into ls prepost. I am trying to do a solid mesh, but always ending up getting 2d shell elements. I have tried using solid meshing, tetrameshing. Do you any1 have any idea, how can i get a solid mesh for my geometry.
FYI: i have also tried importing ansys mesh from mechanical using .stl file, still no use.

@vamshi-mashetty-2 what type of solid mesh are you trying to create? Tetrahedrals or hexahedrals? And what type of geometry are you trying to mesh? Depending on these things it may or may not be possible to mesh in LS-PrePost
